Photography has been a hobby of mine since I was in High School and bought myself my first camera - A Canon AT1. It served me well for many years and took excellent shots. The day it finally failed was the day digital cameras had come to take over the market. Digital was a good thing, but it took me a good year to choose a replacement for my Canon. Once I had my Nikon Coolpix 7600, my desire to take photographs reached new level because now I did not have to be frugal with film anymore. Anything undesired could easily be deleted and only the desired developed. I dare say I take better pictures today than I ever did with my Canon. I have so many more opportunities: I can shoot as much as I want and I always carry my small camera with me so chances are greater I can take that once in a moment picture.

Designing Graphics on the computer has been a passion of mine since I first laid my hands on a computer with a graphics program. I started with a software called Arts & Letter which made graphics design easy as 1-2-3. Once I learnt PhotoShop in 1995 I became hooked even more so. The design possibilities kept improving with the versions of the software. I have since taught PhotoShop for several years. My digital camcorder is five years old and in need of replacement. It has served me well taking video footage. However, technology has caught up with it and there are now newer and much better cameras out there. I am saving up! I have done several video projects using both digital footage and stills. Worth mentioning is a Plano Balloon Festival Video, Michael's First Year, The Emerging Scholars Reception 2006, and a 40th birthday celebration video.

From my very first job and on I always seem to be involved in some form of Print. For years I have been doing Newsletters for different companies and organizations. I've produced company brochures and folders, ads, Annual Reports, invitations, programs, flyers, and even books. With all those years of experience, I dare say I am very proficient with designing printed materials. Among my more recent designs are a poster or the Honors Institute and a graduation folder for the Collin College.
