Storyboarding

Storyboarding helps visualize the final product and guides in the project development. Using storyboarding is a time saver and cost effective as all the steps in the production are visualized and specified in the outline. Other ways to be efficient in the development of multimedia is to use design templates and style sheets to conform to similar looking design over multiple pages. Use storyboarding to plan where the graphics are to be placed on the Web pages. This helps with consistency and continguity over the site.

A storyboard can be made simply by adding post-it stickers to a sheet of paper. Each sticker represents a new page or a new idea. Using sticky notes simpliefies re-drawing the project if changes need to be made in the design phase.

Above is the simple flowchart for my personal website that I made before developing it.
