Teen Second Life is for teens age 13-17 only. Anyone older or younger will not have access. Fraudently registering with a false birthdate will ban member from Second Life.

An account with Teen Second Life is free and much the same things can be done as in Second Life. The difference is that adults are not allowed on the mainland except for Linden Lab staff, and educators that can have presence on islands where teens may choose to visit. These educator adults may, however, not visit the mainland. Background checks are performed before educators may purchase island land in Teen Second Life.

As a teen reaches the age 18, their entire inventory, including land, buildings, etc. gets transfered into Second Life and they will not be able to return to Teen Second Life.

Because of the age restriction and difficulty with following international laws with this, Teen Second Life is for American and Canadian citizens only.
