There.com offers a virtual environment for teens much like Teen Second Life. However, 'There' does not set an upper age limit. Free basic accounts may be created for teens 13 and up. 13-18 yr olds need parent permission for accounts.

Some of 'There' content is moderated: clothing submissions to the stores are audited to avoid inappropriate clothing and clothing that makes avatar appear nude. Language is moderated through profanity filters. Sexual languge is prohibited and PG-13 standards apply. No one can get killed or harmed in 'There'. The environment is friendly and beautifully 3-D rendered according to the website.
